The International Collaboration Initiative is one of the RDO’s key initiatives, with the Conference serving as an initial platform. R&D Collaboration Conference aimed to radically advance and transform the Kingdom’s R&D capabilities, in line with Vision 2030. It provided a place where international researchers and local researchers met to explore opportunities for research collaboration in areas of strategic importance to the Kingdom, and in alignment with demand from government entities and the industry.
The Ministry of Education is committed to enhancing the Kingdom’s national R&D ecosystem by enhancing the capacity of its public universities. The Ministry’s Research and Development Office has several initiatives it is implementing to these ends.
The Conference was held under the patronage of H.E Dr. Ahmed Al-Issa in the premises of the Ministry of Education in Riyadh during the period of 23rd and 24th of April 2018.
